Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes to produce precision metal components.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Load and unload materials while ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments for quality control.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with different materials, including metals and alloys.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials as required.
